wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ontario developmental program (odp)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">pre competitive&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Introduction to competitive elements for the Ontario Development Program (ODP) Athletes do not compete in this program. This is a beginner group that is getting prepared for competition. Ages 4 &amp; 5. This is a 10 month, 4-5hrs per week commitment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6 hr precompetitive&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Working on creating a strong gymnastics foundation with emphasis on Strength, flexibility and body awareness.&nbsp;Athletes will compete at 1 (ODP) meet. Recommended age 6. This is a 10 month, 6hrs per week commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10 hr precompetitive&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is for athletes that show a keen gymnastics attitude with athletic qualities such as strength, flexibility and co-ordination. &nbsp;Athletes will compete at 1-2 ODP meets . This is a 12 month, 10hrs per week commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">elite petite<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an advanced program that is selected by the Head Coach, with continued emphasis on strength and flexibility in order to achieve more advanced skills. &nbsp;Athletes will compete at 2-3 ODP meets. This is a 12 month, 16-20hrs per week commitment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">invitational compulsory<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">level 1 &amp; 2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This introduction to competition is fun and encourages positive participation. In these levels athletes compete at 1-2 invitational competitions only. This is a 10-12 month program, 7-10hrs per week commitment. Ages 7+<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">provincial competitive gymnastics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All Provincial level athletes Level 3-9 compete at 3 provincial qualifying competitions with an opportunity to qualify for our Ontario Championships. These programs are a 12 month commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">provincial compulsory level 3-5<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this program athletes are trying to master the Junior Olympic (J.O) compulsory program, paying close attention to detail and building a good gymnastics foundation. Athletes in these levels train 12-18hrs per week. Age 9+<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">provincial levels 6-9<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this program athletes have an opportunity to work on optional routines and choreography with continued emphasis on strength and flexibility in order to achieve more advanced skills. Athletes in these levels train 18-25hrs per week. Age 9+<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">national\/elite program<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This program is very intense both mentally and physically. Becoming a National or Elite gymnast requires a huge commitment from the athlete as well as the whole family. Athletes in this program train 26+ hrs per week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Entry into any competitive programs are by tryouts or by recommendation from Senior coaching staff only.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"font-size:16px\"><strong>Tryouts for competitive teams are now ongoing.
